Through his globally recognized adventures, he has become a hero to the adaptive community, showing millions of viewers that rocky trails, snowfields, and even trampoline parks are entirely within reach. Sam brings his invaluable personal experience to the board to crush the fear of trying new things, inspiring individuals of all ability levels to get off of the sidewalk, and experience the pure joy of the great outdoors.


Kenneth (Kenny) Jardine

Kenneth (Kenny) Jardine

Serves as the Secretary of the Outdoor Access Project, bringing a wealth of expertise in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and accessibility advocacy. As the Chief Business Development Officer at Extreme Motus, Kenny works nationwide with parks, cities, and schools to expand access for individuals with mobility challenges. Throughout his career, his partnership and grant-writing strategies have secured millions of dollars in funding, helping hundreds of organizations acquire vital adaptive equipment. Driven by his grandfather’s battle with Parkinson’s disease, Kenny’s passion is deeply personal—he is fiercely committed to breaking down financial barriers and ensuring nature is equitable and accessible to everyone.

Adam Beesley is a board member and the financial strategist for The Outdoor Access Project (OAP). As an accountant, Adam brings a sharp eye for numbers, budget management, and fiscal responsibility to the organization. He is dedicated to ensuring OAP’s resources are maximized efficiently, keeping the financial gears turning smoothly behind the scenes so the team can focus on what matters most: breaking down barriers and getting people into the great outdoors.

An avid hunter and wilderness enthusiast, Mike’s deep personal connection to nature fuels his dedication to the organization. Carol Sonnenburg, CPA, is a board member and the financial anchor of The Outdoor Access Project. As a dedicated nonprofit accounting and tax expert, Carol brings over 30 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations build compliant, scalable financial systems. Her deep expertise in tax reporting, compliance, and fractional CFO-level strategy keeps the organization legally secure and operationally sound. Deeply values-driven, Carol combines her love for the outdoors with her professional mastery to ensure every dollar is maximized to break down barriers and open up wild places for the adaptive community.

As a board member of The Outdoor Access Project, Ryan leverages his extensive background in digital storytelling and adaptive advocacy to champion genuine, barrier-free access to nature for individuals of all abilities. Known for his work promoting all-terrain mobility and documenting adaptive adventures for millions of viewers worldwide, Ryan believes true inclusion means redefining what is possible outdoors. Through his storytelling and leadership on the board, he is focused on creating a world where no one is left behind.
